Name Change?

When I began this trip in October 2019, “walkabout” seemed like the right term for what I was going to do. Granted I took liberty with the walking aspect but in many ways I felt I was going to meet the other aspects of the definition above.

There is an important difference between what I expected to do and what I am doing. I thought my “walkabout” would be more about my destinations (the Paris’) and the travel in between the Paris’ would be uneventful. I was wrong. In many ways my trip is so much more about the journey and somewhat less about my brief visits to the Paris’.

I’m leaning toward using the term “wanderabout“ as in “I’m on a wanderabout to visit all the Paris’ in the United States.”
