I gotta believe that there are a bunch of "happy lights" in South Dakota to lift the spirits of people from weather like I experienced yesterday. And Lords knows it is only mid November!

I90 is a national treasure. The landscape around it is beautiful.

Note: Murdo has a nine-hole golf course.

I was not prepared for the 80 mph speed limit on I90. The road is so lonely I am not sure why the speed limit is not higher. BTW, the highest speed limit in the country is 85 mph, which is posted on a single stretch of tollway in exurban areas outside Austin, Texas.[
