On my way to Madras from Big Lake. I got an early start and took this photo as tge sun came up. If you look closely you’ll see the moon.
Interim thoughts on Oregon. Getting outside is big here and there are plenty of opportunities to do that. It has been interesting driving east from the coast - there are mountains, then plateau then taller mountains snd a higher plateau. Some areas are industrial ( Eugene) whereas the little town of Sisters that lies over the Cascade Mountains was as charming as could be. So far the vibe here reminds me of Colorado and Utah - relaxed and comfortable.
