My lack of planning is resulting in some wonderful surprises. Each morning I remind myself that I began this trip with the goal of developing more spontaneity. (That's a tough word to spell correctly). Yesterday it paid off as I visited Universal, Indiana and Deputy, Indiana. I thought I was trying to find an historical (as in no longer there) Paris and ended up finding that Paris is alive and well and has a sister town 1/2 mile away named Paris Crossing. And I topped it off by spending the night in Jeffersonville. I stumbled into Jeffersonville because it was the closest place with a hotel after I had visited the two Paris.'
