For the record, I am noting that this will be the 21st straight night of sleeping in the Sequoia. My previous personal best was either 17 or 18 nights.

At 7 pm it is 97 degrees; the low tonight is forecast to be 63 degrees. I have my fan in the truck and will run the a/c for a bit to cool it down before I turn in.

80 miles from here in Florence, Oregon on the ocean it is currently 64 degrees with a 3 mph wind.

Tomorrow night might be the end of the streak. The forecast is for a high tomorrow in Eugene of 111 degrees. I understand the usual high this time of year is around 70 degrees. We are talking a few sigmas away from that!
