Low expectations for the day — visit Downer, Minnesota and Foxhome, Minnesota. And then to Grand Forks.

Between Downer and Foxhome I saw a huge field of sunflowers and spent time there going and returning. As I drove into Foxhome, I had a funny feeling I had been there before. I had. September 2021. But that didn’t stop me from another tour, more photos and taking a one hour break at its park.

It’s now 4 PM. Lots of indecision recently about travel plans. I don’t think I am as carefree about waiting until late in the day to find a place to spend the night. I think that’s partially driven by warm weather which makes it hard to fall asleep in Hi Ho Silver. The Element hotel last night was top tier. I cranked the a/c down to 65 degrees and slept well on a comfortable king-size mattress.

Just finished my lunch/dinner and a chain store called Crisp & Green. Just like Chopt. Very tasty and hopefully healthy chicken Caesar with a cup of water. Sitting in its parking lot writing this post.
