This rest stop is a mile or two from the former location of Paris, Montana. I can’t believe how lucky I was yesterday to meet Herb Allison in Circle. He helped me find my way here. He is identified who owns the land where Paris was and is going

to attempt to get permission to visit the site. It was exciting day for a Paris I had dismissed because there was so little information about it.

I slept the best I have in a couple of weeks. I think the excitement of yesterday wore me out. 🤪

I’m in that bind of so many photos and thoughts from yesterday but no access to wifi to use my computer. And I have one bar on my cell service. Montana truly is Big Sky country — vast and empty (of people, not beauty).
