Glasgow McDonalds (using wifi)
Glasgow, Montana

Drove 18 miles from Fort Peck to Glasgow this morning. I like the remote areas but I guess I am certainly more comfortable in somewhat more populated areas. Glasgow is only 3,000 people but it is large enough to have several gas stations, a Subway, a McDonalds, Albertsons, a couple of auto part stores. Intetsstingly no Dollar General or Famiky Dollar. Tge closest Walmart is 130 miles away. Yet this is the “big city” in the region.
I can’t believe the warm temperatures. At 85 degrees it was hot yesterday. Today is forecasted to be 86 degrees.
I failed to note something the rancher I spoke to the other day told me. That ranchers and farmers don’t take on debt; they deal in cash. I was reminded of that this morning when the two cowboys in front of me at McDonalds paid in cash. I charge everything!!
I’m still wrestling with routes and schedules. My indecision bothers me. I want to wander/coddiwomple but I am feeling a bit lost without a plan. Maybe it is easier to wander back east because things are closer together. It is a bit mutually exclusive the visit Pray, Montana and the headwaters of the Missouri while always wandering around northern Montana.
