Pilot Truck Stop

September 29, 2024, 7 AM.

Well, that’s different. I mostly go to Love’s Truck Stops and they always play country music. But at this Pilot, they are playing 70s and 80s rock. Last night I heard Hocus Pocus (by Focus) which took me back to my teenage years. I’ll have to check out other Pilots to see if this is a corporate (Berkshire) thing.

I slept pretty well (7 of 10) for me. I was tired. Am I bitchin’ too much?

Sunday — means NFL games. I really don’t understand that association I make because I am not an NFL fan and haven’t watched Sunday games in decades. Maybe it’s because even for me they are a common bond we share — most of us know that Sunday afternoons in the fall mean NFL games. Something I’ll ponder.

I’m thinking I’ll play catch up today and not try to do much if any traveling. I’m not a machine as much as I would like to think I am. Blog, shower, laundry. Maybe those should be my goals for today?
