It was a warm night (76 degrees at 10 PM) so I slept in a tent for the first time in a while. It felt good to be able to stretch out more than I can in Hi Ho Silver. Still didn’t fall asleep until close to midnight. ☹️
This morning I drive back into Cavalier to have breakfast at the only restaurant in town — Thompson’s Cafe. Ten pickups parked at front portended a good breakfast place.
I get the sense that there is a real sense of community in this little town.
