I am driving to Horseshoe Bend, Arizona (it’s only 80 miles) and listening to the audiobook by Jonathan Haidt‘s The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Dubided By Politics And Religion.
I just heard him read the two passages I have included here. Good stuff. The Carnegie he is referring to is Dale, not Andrew.

He’s working his way up to Kahneman, Tversky and Thaler status.
For your readers who have not read this book, I would put it as the equal of Thomas Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions as the two books that had the biggest impact on my intellectual development. Haidt is a genius, and was a 'Hoo!
