I am driving to Horseshoe Bend, Arizona (it’s only 80 miles) and listening to the audiobook by Jonathan Haidt‘s The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Dubided By Politics And Religion.


I just heard him read the two passages I have included here. Good stuff. The Carnegie he is referring to is Dale, not Andrew.

For your readers who have not read this book, I would put it as the equal of Thomas Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions as the two books that had the biggest impact on my intellectual development. Haidt is a genius, and was a 'Hoo!
