Sunset Over Red Rocks

Better lucky than good? I was sitting in my Airbnb when I noticed the clouds were reflecting the setting sun. The sun is setting on the other side of the Flatirons. But for the clouds, you don’t even see the sun setting - it just starts to get dark.

I was shooting with a f5.6 lens so it was hard for me to get anymore light. I was moving so quickly I didn’t even think about adjusting the ISO - that would have lightened up the photos. But I’m going to go with the story that I was attempting to get these rich colors and the Red Rocks silhouette. (I’m pretty sure I have never typed that word because my initial spelling was way off.)

And like they say, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 🤪.
