The Virginia women hosted Oklahoma afternoon and prevailed 2-1. It was hot snd humid — at the halfway point of each half there was a hydration timeout.

The Wahoos were clearly the better team with more speed at most positions. As you can see from the photo below, Virginia had many more scoring opportunities (measured as “shots on goal”) than the Sooners.

I was relieved tgst my attendance did not result in another loss.
