I’m working in the Cando library this morning. There have been a gaggle of older women coming in. It is clear they are avid readers. But it is also clear from their comments that watching television is an important part of their lives — I assume especially in the winter time.


The librarian said that June and July were cold and rainy here. Yikes! Can you imagine having an extremely cold weather only to have the start of sunny warmer delayed?
