The King Pins /“It Won’t Be This Way Always”

I spent the night in my truck at the fairgrounds in Clarksdale. It’s where Robert Johnson of blues fame sold his soul to the Devil. Morgan Freeman owns a blues club there. It’s a town that time forgot once cotton was no longer grown in the area. What used to be a thriving town with beautiful buildings is slowly decaying away. Fitting that the blues are a big part of the city’s history.

Steve Bassett covered “It Won’t Be This Way Always” with the Good Humor Band.
