YouTube keeps putting West Wing clips in my feed. I am surprised how relevant that show is even today.
While it is about a Democratic administration, I look beyond that. Imagine if we had a President who was as smart, as articulate and as value driven as President Jed Bartlet.
I want a President who will have press conferences, who will speak to us often. I want a President who has incredibly thick skin who will not name call his opponents and adversaries, but who will always take the high road. I want one who will appear on Fox News and MSNBC, one who will make us feel good to be Americans. I heard Larry Fink of BlackRock talk about what made America great was hope. And what he sees now in America is fear. A strong leader can help us find that hope again.
