Sedona, Arizona

January 14, 2021

Although it was an overcast afternoon,I headed up to Airport Mesa around 3:00 pm to see what I could see. It costs $3.00 to park for the scenic overlook which I guess I don't hold against the city for charging. They probably made $300 in sales yesterday afternoon.

It is quite the view. I also waked down the "Scenic View" trail and got some photos looking eastward.

I look forward to returning on a clear day when there is some better lighting.

Oh, almost forgot. The big dome rock is called "Thunder Dome" because it gets hit by lightening during thunder storms. Can you tell which formation is called "coffee pot?"
