Beautiful afternoon with only a few billowing white clouds. The high temperature was 55 degrees but now at 6 pm, I can feel the temperature retreating. And a fairly constant cool breeze has kicked up adding to the cooling conditions. I’ve taken refuge in HI Ho Silver — feels good to get out of the breeze and to stretch out. I’m trying to follow the Wahoos game against Ohio by monitoring the stats, but I only have 1 bar and the stats are not refreshing (in more ways than one). Perhaps that is the Universe’s way of protecting me? But it is also preventing me from downloading the audiobook of The Grapes of Wrath having finished Cannery Row earlier today. I’ll keep trying even though I keep getting the same result. I never said I was sane.
