These photos are from June 12th when he was six days old. Born at 8 pounds, 1 ounce he’s got a head start.

As I held him, I wondered what was going on in his mind. Amazing how we are born with a brain that still needs to develop yet has everything it needs to do that. But it’s developed enough to run the body’s functions like peeing, pooping, nursing, sleeping, attempting to open the eyes, crying and responding to noise, heart beat, breathing.
