Frustrated. A couple of months ago my son and I started a contest to lose 10 pounds in two months. The first five came off incredibly easy, in less than two weeks. I've done this enough times to know I couldn't keep up that pace unless I was going to go cardio-crazy. And cardio-crazy for me means temporary weight loss.
So I've been stuck and haven't gone below the five pounds. :(
My daughter works with folks with body image issues and has taught me a lot about how to think about food.
My problem is I don't think enough before I eat. As in, maybe there is a better alternative than XYZ. I am sucker for things that taste good. And things that taste good to me tend to be high-calorie dense foods -- or empty calorie foods.
So tomorrow I start again. Trying to eat more foods that aren't made to taste good (by adding fat, sugar and salt). I know I can, I know I can ... I hope I can!
