The Nook was one of my favorite places in Charlottesville "back in the day". It was owned and run by John & Mary Williams, and Mary was President of Downtown Charlottesville, Inc They were huge supporters of the City Market when it started, as well as she hired me to do the PR campaign for the Pedestrian Mall when it was finished late in 1975…. A great, memorable Lady!
