Characterizing a particular geographic area requires some generalizations. So pardon my generalizations In advance.

This part of Michigan is outdoorsy. Lots of boats and gun stores. And a few Let’s Go Brandon and Trump 2024 banners. From that I assume there are a fair number of people who don’t trust the government and other institutions. Likely not fans of renewable energy.

So what an ingenious slogan — “power your independence.” You don’t need to be beholden to that bureaucratic electric utility that always screws you with rate hikes. I thought this was really clever.

Works so long as you can afford the capital cost! 🤪
