Today was a positioning day - getting in range of both Iowa Paris’. I did not enjoy driving through Omaha -- eight and ten lane roads with people going too fast.
Iowa has a lot of corn! It is prettier than the Dakotas — there seemed to be more houses and towns. Also a more rolling terrain.
Not many photos. I missed a salt and pepper shaker museum (Traer, Iowa?) and a street named “Lois Lane” here in Waterloo.
I did not intend to do towns ending in double O back to back. I’m trying to think of other towns with the same ending - all I have come up with is Kalamazoo, birthplace of Derek Jeter.
