That person is fat.

That person needs to cut his hair.

That person shouldn't be eating so much.

That person looks [fill in the blank with something negative]

The list goes on. Why do are we so quick to judge others? People that we don't even know -- that we will likely never see again.

I work hard each day not to judge others by their outward appearance. I can't seem to stop myself from doing it so far, but I have started to follow the judgement with "well, that's not very helpful."

I am proud of myself for finally appreciating that we all have interesting stories about our lives and how much fun it is to hear the response to "tell me about yourself."

Be curious, not judgemental.
