Inconveniently the A’s have been on the road for the past week. They return him to face the Astros tomorrow night. I’ll be there but not before experiencing some angst.


Dumb me figured that getting a ticket to the A’s game would be identical to what I did for the Giants game. Not so fast.


- They only sell tickets in sets of 2 or 4


- You don’t have to prove you are vaccinated or have a negative test


- You have to be a California resident to buy the tickets.


So, assuming I don’t get turned away at the gate for not being able to prove residency (I “borrowed” an address to buy the tickets) I look forward to sitting in a seat half as good as I should have been able to buy.
