Two points here.

Only a small man would threaten Springsteen to keep his mouth shut. It is so beneath the office of the President to comment on the Boss’ comments.

The alt-right had no concern with country stars criticizing Biden. And I don’t recall Biden threatening them to shut up.

I may not like what some people say but I will always defend their right to say it. I expect nothing less from elected people.

And as for the “stick to your lane,” just because you are an athlete or an entertainer, you still have the right to express your opinion on whatever topic you care to.
