Before I forget, I wanted to comment on the cyclists I saw scaling Marin Headlands. They reminded me of the cyclists I saw in Boulder ascending slopes that would be tough enough just to walk. My friend Andre is the only person I know who is fit enough to attempt such a climb -- and indeed, Andre confirmed for me that he has cycled Marin Headlands.

Instead of just admiring these folks, perhaps I should start riding my bike more!
