This Is Meant To Be Funny

I realize any time I say “this is meant to be funny,” it either isn’t or worse yet, I will offend people.

But here it goes.

I suggest anyone who wears a MAGA hat should be required to ride the New York City Subway for two hours. The diversity of people in the cars and on the platforms will shock them to their core. Some might even find their heads exploding.

Each person we see — no matter their skin color, gender, appearance, clothes, etc. — has a story. A story that is worth hearing. We have this default circuit in our brains that tells us we can know a person by just looking at them. We can’t. How about we try to reprogram ourselves so that our first reaction is a positive one until we are proven wrong?
