Charlottesville

Kudos to how easy the early voting process is in Charlottesville. The office is just off the Downtown Mall (easy walk for me from Belmont). I showed my driver’s license which shows my address as a PO Box. After a few minutes of debate about needing to give a physical address, I updated my registration with the address of my Airbnb. Then I filled out my ballot, inserted it into reader and was done.

Later I took a dark chocolate crème pie from the Pie Chest to the voting office as a thank you for what they do. I hesitated momentarily thinking that they might not be able to accept it, but then I remembered I am in Virginia. 🤪
